Myles Martel
CHAIR
Myles Martel is a nationally recognized communications strategist, author, and educator. After a distinguished academic career that culminated in a full professorship, he served as President Ronald Reagan’s personal debate advisor, launching a decades-long consulting practice advising political, business, and civic leaders. He is the author of six books on leadership and communication, including the business bestseller The Persuasive Edge. Deeply committed to public service and remembrance, he has led numerous civic initiatives, including the creation of the Ultimate Sacrifice Memorial and the Roll of Honor at the University of Connecticut.

Kevin Black
TREASURER
Kevin Black is a senior finance executive with more than 35 years of global leadership experience at Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson. A CPA with an MBA in Finance from Drexel University, he also completed the Wharton School’s Board Governance certification program. Earlier in his career, he worked in public accounting, auditing nonprofit organizations and developing expertise in 501(c)(3) governance, compliance, and financial reporting. Today, he advises biopharmaceutical and medical device companies on business development and strategic growth initiatives.

George Schu
SECRETARY
George Schu brings extensive leadership experience across military service, technology, and business growth. A retired U.S. Navy Captain, he served for more than two decades, including as Commanding Officer of the Center for Information Warfare Training, before transitioning to the private sector. He later held senior leadership roles at Oracle, VeriSign, and Booz Allen Hamilton, where he was a partner focused on technology and cybersecurity. He has also advised, invested in, and served on the boards of emerging technology companies, helping entrepreneurs build and scale successful businesses.
